Par kahin sibte payambar sa na aqa dekha

But they never saw a master such as the Son of The Prophet SAW (Hussain AS)

Ja ke Zainab ne Medinay main Kaha

When Zainab returned to Madina she said

Pardes main kya kya dekha

What I have seen in foreign lands

Aalooda e khoon

Drenched in blood

Main nay Abbas ko

I have seen Abbas (AS)

Bay jaan lab-e-darya dekha

Lifeless by the river bank

Main nay dekha Ali Asghar ka gala

I have seen Ali Asghar's (AS) throat

Khoon main ter

Soaked in blood

Main nay zakhmi Ali Akbar

I have seen the injured Ali Akbar's

Ka kalaija dekha

Aik gathri shah-e-deen pusht pai Laeey us main

The King of Islam (Hussain AS) carried a bundle on his back to us, inside

Mainay tukray Huay Qasim ka saraapa dekha

I saw Qasim's (AS) entire body in pieces

Haye kyun ho na gaeen kor keh In ankhon say

Why didn't my eyes go blind?

Main nay bay gor-o-kafan Bhai ka laasha dekha

I saw my brother's (Hussain AS) corpse without a grave or a kafan (burial cloth)

Bay rida khalq nay uss bibi kay Sar ko dekha

Humanity saw that lady without a veil for the first time (when Zainab S.A. was paraded through the bazaars of Kufa and Damascus)

Jis kee maadar Ka kisi nay na janaza dekha

Whose mother's funeral was not witnessed by anybody (referring to Fatima, the Prophet's daughter)
